Easy operation, but you may not satisfy the VCD you made.

I bought this card few weeks ago. The installation is simple. The neo DVD software is also very good to run(CPU > 1 GHz is required). I tried to capture the video from my camcorder. It works, but the resolution is not good as expected (DVD quality, up to 720 x 480 on the package box). As a cheap video capture card, you can easily make DVD/VCD from your video sources, but don¡¯t think you would make them with good quality.

Rating: - A good capture card for family sharing
I purchased this product because it was the most moderately priced capture card I found. I did a lot of research and it offered all the qualities I was looking for. I use the card to capture analog video from a camcorder, then I edit and burn the videos to CD to send to family. The capture quality is a good resolution, certainly not "professional", but then I do not have DVD capabilities. I run XP, with 512Mb RAM, 40G HD, Intel Celeron. I capture in MPEG format, so I can't speak for the quality in MPEG2. The bundled software is good for capturing and then burning, but not for editing (I use windows movie maker). Installation was a snap, I was capturing in no time. some nuances in figuring out audio and file-size settings, but nothing serious. Overall very pleased with product, but bundled software earns a B-.
